2010 Honda Accord - Powertrains and Performance
The 2010 Honda Accord provides three engine options. The LX and LX-P cars are inspired by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder which makes 177 horse power and 161 pound-feet of twisting. An improved 190-hp edition of that 2.4-liter engine abilities EX cars and all coupes. A five-speed guide is conventional with the four-cylinder engine, and a five-speed automated is optionally available.
Available on the EX cut levels is a 3.5-liter V6 which makes 271 hp and 254 lb-ft of twisting (251 lb-ft on manual-shift V6 coupes). Sedans with the V6 can only be had with a five-speed automated, but a six-speed guide is a no-cost choice on V6 coupes. Speeding is class-competitive with either of the four-cylinder engine, but the last V6 sedan we examined documented a poor quality 7.5-second dash from zero to 60 mph, well behind rapid opponents like the Mazda 6 s and Car Altima 3.5 SE.

All Accords come conventional with antilock disk avoiding system, balance and grip control, front side part protection bags and full-length part layer protection bags. Braking performance is underwhelming -- our last analyze of a four-cylinder Accord led to a longish 60-0 avoiding range of 137 legs, with extreme vibrations moved through the avoiding mechanism your pedal. A V6-powered design was no better at 133 legs.

The 2010 Honda Accord functions a firmly designed internal with usually high-quality components, though it's no longer surpass the competitors in this respect.
