2009 Honda Accord - Powertrains and Performance
The 2009 Honda Accord provides three engine choices. The LX and LX-P cars are inspired by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder which makes 177 horse power and 161 pound-feet of twisting. An improved 190-hp edition of that 2.4-liter engine abilities EX cars and all coupes. A five-speed guide is conventional with the four-cylinder engines, and a five-speed automated is optionally available. Available on the EX cut levels is a 3.5-liter V6 which makes 271 hp and 254 lb-ft of twisting (251 lb-ft on manual-shift V6 coupes). Sedans with the V6 can only be had with a five-speed automated, but a six-speed guide is a no-cost option on V6 coupes.

All Accords come conventional with antilock disk braking system, balance and grip control, front side part protection bags and full-length part layer protection bags. In government accident assessments, the Accord sedan obtained an ideal five stars for front side passenger security at the front side and part impacts; however, it obtained just three stars for back passenger side-impact security. The Accord vehicle was ideal except for its four-star side-impact security for front side passengers. The Insurance Institution for Road Safety provided the Accord its top ranking of "Good" for both front side balanced out and side-impact accident security.
2009 Honda Accord - Interior Design and Special Features
The 2009 Honda Accord functions a firmly constructed internal with generally high-quality materials, though it's no longer surpass the competition in this respect. The center collection looks innovative, but it's far too messy with identical-looking control buttons, contrary to the user-friendly templates in past Accords. The optionally available routing system increases the button count further, but its speech instructions, high-mounted screen and multi-purpose handle are at least user-friendly. The top-of-the-line set seats are polarizing -- some of us love their strong shapes and firm support, while others have reported of pins and needles after long visits and extreme nonadjustable lower back. This is by far the biggest Accord ever, so expect a numerous supply of passengers room, particularly in the sedan's back section. However, the 14-cubic-foot footwear in the sedan is unusually small given the vehicle's magnificent overall size. The coupe's footwear provides a decent 11.9 pieces.
